Definitions
“Seller” means The Tiffin Food Company whose office is at Unit 3 Highcliffe Rd, Hamilton Industrial Estate, Leicester. LE5 1TY.
‘Customer’ means the person, firm or company who agrees to buy the Goods from the Seller.
‘Customer’s Premises’ means the Customer’s premises detailed on the receipt given by the Seller to the Buyer in respect of the Goods.
‘Delivery Date’ means an approximate date specified when the Buyer receives an order from the Customer.
‘Conditions’ means these Terms and Conditions of Sale.
‘Goods’ means all goods supplied by the Seller to the Buyer in Relation to the Contract.
‘Price’ means the price of the Goods plus Additional Charges as referred to in these conditions.
‘Writing’ includes a postal letter and electronic mail
Conditions
Any goods sold by The Tiffin Food Company are sold under these conditions unless it is otherwise clearly stated in writing under a
separate contract. These conditions will apply to the exclusion of any terms or conditions put forward by the Customer.
Customer Confidentiality
Maintaining privacy is very important to The Tiffin Food Company . They will not sell, rent or disclose Customer personal or
payment details to anyone without prior consent unless required to do so by law.
When certain information such as a contact telephone number is asked for, this is for the courrier service only and to ensure the
Customer receives their goods.
From time to time The Tiffin Food Company may send emails to inform customers about offers or new products they have.
If the customer would prefer not to receive these, they should let the company know.
Payment
The Tiffin Food Company accepts payment through Paypal. The following cards are accepted through the Paypal Payment System: Switch, Visa, JCB, MasterCard, Euro, and Delta. The Tiffin Food Company uses a secure payment system to ensure the safety of all its customers. We do not receive any card details from Paypal (UK).
All goods are priced in British pounds sterling. Payments must be made in British pounds sterling.
All products are charged at zero rated VAT.
Should the customer prefer to pay with any other method, this must be requested and cleared by The Tiffin Food Company.
Delivery & Minimum Order Requirement
There is no minimum order required.
Delivery charges are dependent upon the total weight of the parcel. Orders over £16 there will be a standard charge of £5.95 + VAT. Orders over £25 receive free delivery.
Any orders which require delivering locally, within these postcodes LE1, LE2, LE3, LE4, LE5 will be delivered free. The intial delivery charge shall be applied online. However, this will be refunded back into the buyers account.
The Tiffin Food Company uses a courrier service to deliver their goods. Please allow up to 3 days to receive your order.
The Tiffin Food Company are unable to deliver to Scotland, Wales, Offshore Islands, Ireland or any other country, without special arrangement.
If the customer is not able to receive their delivery at the specified address, they must ensure they have either given instructions in the 'Additional Comments' box when placing their order or have left clear instructions for the courrier.
We cannot accept any responsibility for deliveries where no alternative instructions were provided or the address/ contact details given with the order are incorrect.
In the event there is no one to accept the parcel and no clear instructions have been left, the delivery will not be signed for.
The courrier will attempt to find a safe place to leave the package. However, it will be left at the customer's own risk.
Storage of Goods
All sources and marinades must be stored in a cool, dry and dark place.
Should the customer place an order for the meals, they will be delivered frozen, unless otherwise agreed between the Seller and Customer. Upon delivery, the Goods must be stored in a freezer or at -18°C or below.
The Seller will not be held responsible for any deterioration or damage caused by incorrect storage by the Customer. Instructions on the packaging must be followed.
Cooking of Goods
All products must be reheated as stated on the packaging. The Tiffin Food Company does not take any responsibility for the deterioration of meals reheated using an incorrect method.
Damaged Goods / Incorrect Order
The Tiffin Food Company take every step to ensure goods reach the Customer in a perfect condition.
Should goods be damaged, the Customer must notify The Tiffin Food Company in writing within 5 days of delivery. Details of date of purchase & delivery and batch code must be included in the letter. The goods should be intact and in the condition they were delivered. If The Tiffin Food Company are fully satisfied that the products have been stored under the correct conditions, they will at their own discretion exchange the goods.
Should the Customer receive an incorrect order, they must notify The Tiffin Food Company within 3 days of delivery.
No refunds will be given.
Cancelled Orders
Orders will only be stopped and refunded if they are cancelled before dispatch.
Product Information
All weight and allergy advice is given on the online website. Should the Customer require any further information, they should contact the company at info@thetiffinfoodcompany.co.uk
Complaints
In the event a Customer wishes to place a complaint regarding any goods or services, they should either write or email The Tiffin Food Company immediately. The company will do their utmost to respond within 5 working days. All complaints will be kept strictly
confidential.
The Tiffin Food Company reserves the right to correct any clerical, typographical or other error on this website without liability.
The Tiffin Food Company endeavours to keep this website accurate and error free. However, in the unlikely event that an error should occur, please contact us immediately at info@thetiffinfoodcompany.co.uk.However, we are not responsible should the online service be unavailable
The Tiffin Food Company does not accept any liability for damage caused by software which may affect your equipment.
The Tiffin Food Company reserves the right to make modifications or remove without notice, any information on this site. Prices of goods and availibility of goods are subject to change at any time.
The company does not accept responsibility for information regarding our company or products found on other websites.
The Tiffin Food Company cannot guarantee that any email sent from you to our company will be received by us or that it's contents are or will remain secure during or following transmission.

The Tiffin Food Company will not be held responsible for any losses incurred other than those that are directly the company’s fault. The following shall be regarded (without limitation) as cause beyond the Seller’s reasonable control: Floods, Storms, Fires; War or threat of war, Terrorism; Any Government restrictions or changes in regulations or laws; Strikes; Trade Disputes, Difficulties in obtaining raw materials, labour, fuel; Power failure or breakdown in machinery.
